Opuntia molesta is
from north central Baja California. It has spiny stem segments that
are easily dislodged and catch onto anything that comes in contact
with them. Grows to about 1 ½ ft in cultivation and produces purple
flowers 1 ½ to 2 inches wide. Propagated by cuttings. |
