Prickly-Pear
Optunia ficus-indica is spineless or nearly so.
Flowers are Yellow and appear in late spring to early summer.
Pads are easily rooted in well-drained potting soil and grows rapidly.
It's a very
hardy cactus to 15°F and can withstand temperatures well above
100°F.
