Grow in full sun in a warm location, filtered sun in the desert.  Protect from freezing.  Water thoroughly once a week.

Keep dry in winter.  Do no transplant until following spring.  Plant in a fast draining soil mix.

Fertilize frequently with a high phosphorus fertilizer for blooms during the growing season.

When planted in the garden, good drainage is essential for plumerias to thrive.

It is natural for plumerias to lose their leaves and go dormant in the winter months, they will start new growth in spring.
