Compact upright, rope-like stems,
short green speckled leaves with prominent teeth. Full sun to
light shade. Grow in well-drained soil, water only when dry
and avoid watering in cool weather. The difference between A.
zanzibarica and A. squarrosa is that the leaves of Aloe squarrosa
tend to recurve and are larger in scale than A. zanzibarica. |
